Simply Weather ^™

No doubt about it, I'm a weather geek. That said, there are many times when I just want the weather without all the fuss. Simply Weather is my solution to weather information overload. Just the right amount of information in an easy to understand format.

Simply Weather actually started out as Windows Sidebar Gadget because I couldn't find a weather gadget that didn't annoy me at some level. Sure there are gadgets that do maps or have flyouts or look cooler. The problem was you had to activate a flyout or click a button to get the forecast. Gadgets are not desktop applications in my opinion and shouldn't behave like one. Apparently I'm not alone. Simply Weather has been downloaded tens-of-thousands of times and the feedback has been overwhelmingly postive.

Simply Weather, the Web site, is a natural extension of the philosophy that inspired Simply Weather, the gadget. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7, you may find the gadget to your liking.

Finally, while it should go without saying, it can't, given the awful behavior of some. If you choose to contact me I won't spam you or sell your name or otherwise infringe on your privacy. I have enough interesting things going on in my own life and that's enough for me.
