Just noticed it’s been over a year since I’ve updated anything here. I guess when something works, it just works. I’ve made a few changes however for the sake of flexibility and speed.
No more frames. You’ll now see that the site is hosted at http://weather.blueonionsoftware.com which has always been the case. I was running in a frame to hide the redirect to my other site. I’m cheap and hosting SimplyWeather.net at a different site is not worth it at this time.
I’ve also made the site bookmarkable by using url arguments. The old cookie method still works but now you can also pass the location in the url. This allows you to bookmark different locations.
There’s also some other minor fixes you might notice here and there. Next update I’ll add links to the weather.com and other services to get more detailed forecasts.
